I love Traveling as it gives new experiences. But you know what? Traveling is also keeping you away from the awesome tea collection you have at home, right? Well, I have few ideas for you to enjoy healthy traveling with tea and how to create an awesome traveling tea kit.
On top of that, you will not have to end up drinking the tea bags from hotels. We all know that those are peeves of tea lovers. So, if you are a tea lover too, you will already have a huge collection of teas at home. No, I will not tell you to get another luggage just to have them all with you.
I will help you decide teas that will actually be a perfect companion while traveling. Because when you are traveling, all you need is a soothing cup of tea that keeps you fresh and active.
Peppermint Tea For Healthy Traveling
We all know that when we are traveling we can be tempted to eat a lot of new types of food, maybe food we never had before. It is ok to do that, we all do, but this will also give you the “I had too much to eat” feeling.
Anytime this happens to me, my quick remedy is a freshly brewed cup of mint tea. It helps a lot with easing the digestion and it certainly has a lot of other benefits as well.
Peppermint tea is definitely a must-have when I am traveling. I find that mint tea has wonderful effects on digestion.
If you want to take your tea drinking experience to the next level, you can also try chamomile tea. Trust me; it will be a great comfort while traveling.
Chamomile Tea-Best Traveling Companion
For those moments when you just need a bit of calm in your day, chamomile tea can be a good companion. We do a lot of things while we are traveling but from time to time we could also use a break.
Chamomile tea has some extra benefits for you, which could be very useful while you are traveling. It can be very refreshing to drink and spray it your skin after a long day in the sun. It reduces inflammation and helps to relieve headaches and migraines – we surely don’t want those during our travels, right?

BEST WAY TO TEA ON THE GO
Truthfully, if you’re traveling to a tea drinking country, chances are you may find some excellent teas to try. On the flip side, my travel schedule last year took me to Beitou where they usually serve oolong tea after hot spring.
During our stay in Taiwan, we decided to take a day trip to Beitou, enjoy oolong tea after hot spring, and then, of course, eat some food. One of the most relaxing things to do anywhere, is sit in a natural hot spring, Sounds amazing?
Ah, Beitou…So many wonderful hot springs, so little time. One of the precious gifts that earth has given to us, Agreed? And I loved the atmosphere. I closed my eyes, drink oolong tea, and felt as though I was in Beitou.
What is your favorite type of tea? Have you tried any of blooming lotus teas?
